Custom Grade Shirts
Our Customer Grade shirt is made-to-measure quality and detailing in ready-to-wear sizes. Included are all the benefits of the ready-to-wear City shirt collection.
Each shirt is handmade by 15 shirtmakers at our Derry factory, based in the historic heartland of European shirtmaking. With over 40 processes required to complete each Custom Grade shirt, they are sewn using single needle French seaming with 18 stitches to an inch. Custom Grade Shirts have been carefully finished to include a double split yoke to give more flexibility across the shoulders allowing freedom of movement.
The shirts are finished with lock stitched mother-of-pearl buttons to ensure longevity.
All collar have removable stiffeners for a more pristine look, and can also be removed to allow the shirts to be worn open necked.
This fine detailing follows if a striped pattern is chosen, then the sleeve head striping is carefully matched to ensure fluidity of the design as well as a matched gauntlet on the cuff.
